Low Voltage Spotlights

Low voltage lighting gives a much brighter output than mains voltage, when using the same wattage lamp. MR16 and MR11 are two different lamp types. MR16 has a diameter of 51mm, and MR11 has a diameter of 35mm. MR11 fixtures are generally smaller and more discrete than MR16.

Fire Rated Spotlights maintain the ceiling fire barrier integrity and give a 1 hour fire rating to comply with The Building Regulations 2000, Fire Safety Document B: "Every joint, imperfection of fit or opening to allow services to pass through should be adequately protected by sealing or fire stopping so that the fire resistance of the element is not impaired."
